The Practice Head will take this foundation and scale it into a $50M global cybersecurity business unit — a transformative mandate that will shape the next chapter of Teceze’s growth.Role Purpose The Practice Head — Cybersecurity Services is the single accountable leader for Teceze’s entire Cybersecurity Tower, with full P&L ownership and a $50 million USD global revenue mandate. This is a business-within-a-business leadership role that spans sales, delivery, client engagement, governance, talent, and technology strategy. Unlike a pure sales or delivery leader, this role requires an entrepreneurial executive who can simultaneously grow revenue, ensure world-class service delivery, maintain margin discipline, build organisational capability, and represent the practice as Teceze’s most senior cybersecurity voice to clients, partners, and the market. The Practice Head will sit on Teceze’s Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the CEO, with a dotted line to the COO for delivery governance. This individual will be responsible for building the cybersecurity tower from its current base into a scaled, profitable, and globally recognised managed security services business.Key Responsibilities 1. P&L Ownership & Business Strategy Own the full P&L for the Cybersecurity Tower with accountability for revenue ($50M), gross margin (40–50%), and operating margin (18–25%) Develop and execute a 3-year strategic business plan for the cybersecurity practice covering revenue growth, service line expansion, geographic scaling, talent buildout, and technology investment Set annual budgets, quarterly targets, and monthly forecasts across all revenue streams and cost centres Make investment decisions on SOC expansion, technology licensing, talent acquisition, and market entry — balancing growth ambition with financial discipline Present financial performance, strategic progress, and market outlook to the CEO, Board, and Senior Leadership Team on a monthly and quarterly cadence Drive revenue mix towards 65–70% recurring managed services to build a predictable, high-margin revenue base Identify and pursue strategic M&A, partnership, or technology acquisition opportunities to accelerate practice growth 2. Sales & Revenue Growth Lead the cybersecurity sales function, setting strategy, targets, and execution plans across direct enterprise sales and GSI partner channels Build and maintain a $150M+ qualified pipeline (3x coverage) across all service lines and geographies Personally sponsor and close marquee deals valued at $2M–$10M+, serving as the executive voice in C-suite negotiations Develop go-to-market strategies for each service line, defining ideal customer profiles, pricing models, and competitive positioning Drive GSI partner revenue by building joint business plans with security practice leaders at HCL, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, NTT, and Capgemini Establish Teceze’s complimentary Cybersecurity Posture Assessment as a scalable demand-generation engine Expand into new verticals and geographies, with particular focus on financial services, healthcare/pharma, and the Middle East market Recruit and lead a sales team of 8–12 including Regional Sales Directors, BDMs, and Cyber Pre-Sales Consultants 3. Service Delivery & SOC Operations Own end-to-end delivery quality for all cybersecurity engagements, ensuring SLA attainment, client satisfaction, and zero critical service failures Oversee global SOC operations across 4+ locations, ensuring 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting capabilities meet contractual commitments Drive SOC maturity and automation through investment in SOAR, AI/ML-driven analytics, GenAI threat intelligence, and automated playbook execution Ensure all managed services are delivered against NIST CSF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and client-specific compliance frameworks Establish and maintain delivery KPIs including MTTD (Mean Time to Detect), MTTR (Mean Time to Respond), false positive rates, and first-contact resolution Lead the expansion of SOC capabilities including planned scaling to additional regions by June 2026 Build standardised delivery playbooks, runbooks, and onboarding frameworks to ensure repeatability and quality at scale Manage delivery leadership including SOC Managers, Security Analysts (L1/L2/L3), VAPT leads, and advisory consultants 4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as the ultimate executive sponsor for Teceze’s top cybersecurity clients, maintaining trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and Heads of Security Conduct quarterly executive business reviews (EBRs) with strategic accounts, reviewing threat posture, service performance, and roadmap alignment Establish a structured client engagement model with clear escalation paths, regular reporting cadences, and proactive communication Drive client retention and expansion, targeting ≥90% renewal rate on managed services contracts and 25%+ year-on-year account growth Leverage Teceze’s proven case studies (Tanner Pharma, clinical research, Outsell, Share Community, healthcare VAPT, global insurance VAPT) to build client confidence and reference networks Build a CISO Advisory Network and client community programme to foster peer engagement, generate referrals, and deepen strategic relationships Ensure rapid and effective resolution of client escalations, acting as the final point of authority for service-related issues 5. Governance, Risk & Compliance Establish and maintain a comprehensive governance framework for the Cybersecurity Tower covering service delivery, financial controls, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Ensure the practice operates in full compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and SOC 2 Type 2 (upon certification) standards Implement robust internal risk management processes for the tower, including security incident response for Teceze’s own operations, vendor risk management, and data handling protocols Define and enforce quality gates across the delivery lifecycle: onboarding, steady-state operations, change management, and offboarding Establish internal audit cadences and readiness programmes to support external audits and client security assessments Ensure all client contracts, SOWs, and SLAs are commercially sound, legally compliant, and operationally deliverable — working closely with Legal and Finance Maintain governance alignment with Teceze’s overarching ISO-certified management systems and corporate governance framework 6. Talent, Organisation Building & Culture Design the organisational structure for the Cybersecurity Tower, building functional teams across sales, pre-sales, SOC operations, advisory, VAPT, delivery management, and governance Recruit, develop, and retain 80–120 cybersecurity professionals across all functions and geographies Build a talent pipeline for critical roles including SOC analysts (L1/L2/L3), threat hunters, incident responders, penetration testers, security architects, and CISO-level advisors Establish career progression frameworks and certification pathways (CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, CEH, cloud security certifications) to attract and retain top security talent Foster a culture of continuous learning, threat intelligence sharing, and operational excellence across the practice Build an offshore/nearshore delivery model leveraging Teceze’s India SOC and global delivery centres for cost-effective, follow-the-sun operations Implement performance management frameworks with clear OKRs for every function within the tower 7. Technology Strategy & Innovation Define the technology roadmap for the Cybersecurity Tower, making build-vs-buy decisions on SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management platforms Drive investment in GenAI-powered threat intelligence, automated incident response, and predictive risk analytics to differentiate Teceze’s MSSP offering Maintain and expand strategic technology partnerships with leading security vendors (NextGen SIEM, EDR, email security, identity platforms) Oversee the development of Teceze’s proprietary security IP including automated playbooks, use case libraries, and reporting dashboards Evaluate emerging technologies (SASE/ZTNA, XDR convergence, AI-native SOC, OT/IoT security) and build service offerings around market-ready capabilities Ensure technology investments deliver measurable ROI and competitive differentiation
