Job descriptionSalary – 4.8L CTC to 6L CTCLocation - WeWork, Prestige Central, BangaloreExperience – 2-5 yearsCompany - (Subsidiary of Ralco Synergy Pvt Ltd)About Equipp - is a Bangalore-based tech rental startup focused on laptops, PS5s, and tablets.We are currently a small team of 2, and lookingfor our third team member — someone who wants to grow with us, take ownership,and doesn’t need daily supervision.You will work closely with the founder, learnhow purchasing decisions are made, and become the company's key hardwareperson.We are backed by our parent company, Ralco Synergy Pvt Ltd, so the uncertainty of a startup isn’t there — but the growth and learning of a startup definitely is.Role Overview -This is a hybrid role:60% Hardware Repair + Troubleshooting40% Purchase + Vendor ManagementYou will be responsible for fixing laptops, managing quotations, negotiating with SP Road vendors, and supporting the day-to-day technical needs of Equipp.Key Responsibilities -1. Hardware Engineer (60%)- Diagnose and fix all common laptop issues (Windows and Mac) - Perform part replacements: RAM, SSD, batteries, keyboards, screens, trackpads - Handle software-level problems (BSOD, OS installation, drivers, firmware, BIOS) - Basic troubleshooting for tablets & PS5 (training will be provided) - Perform internal tests before handing devices back to operations - Support our parent company (Ralco Synergy Pvt Ltd) with hardware issues when needed - NO soldering required2. Purchase and Vendor Management (40%)- Collect multiple quotes for laptop purchases daily - Visit SP Road (maybe once a week) to evaluate devices physically - Negotiate prices and build long-term vendor relationships - Track purchase history, quotation trends, and previous pricing - Maintain basic purchase and vendor logs in Excel/Google Sheets - Porter pickups/deliveries when neededSkills Required –- To be able to analyse basic data - Kannada preferred - Bike or Scooter preferredWhy Join?- Directly work with founders and have a major say in purchase decisions - Become the core hardware engineer as the company grows - No rigid hierarchy or micromanagement - Learn how a rental business evaluates, purchases, prices, and repairs devices - Work inside WeWork (Prestige Central) — safe, clean, comfortable workspace - Backed by a large IT company, but with the speed and freedom of a startupNote on Work Style –- Independent working is crucial — tasks will not be assigned daily - You must take ownership, follow through on repairs, and communicate proactively - Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment
