Please share suitable profiles ASAP.Position Details• Role: Senior Data Engineer / Databricks Engineer• Experience: 6–10 Years• Duration: 6 Months to 1 year (Contract-to-Hire)• Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)• Notice Period: Immediate to 14 days only⸻Mandatory Skills (Must-Have)Candidates must have demonstrated hands-on experience with:• At least 2 end-to-end Databricks projects• Databricks Unity Catalog (Data Governance)• Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)• Metadata-driven pipeline design• Minimum 3 years of Databricks experience• AWS Cloud (working knowledge)• Microsoft Fabric experience⸻Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Databricks Engineer will:• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Databricks and Apache Spark• Design and implement efficient data models and schemas• Work with data scientists and analysts to build and deploy ML models• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across pipelines• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data processing issues• Implement data security and access controls• Stay updated with latest Databricks features and best practices• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing• Mentor junior data engineers• Maintain documentation for data workflows• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions⸻Required Qualifications & Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering• Strong proficiency in Databricks & Apache Spark• Excellent SQL and experience with Python or Scala• Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog• Proven experience in designing ETL pipelines• Strong understanding of big data & distributed computing• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP• Familiarity with Git version control• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Good communication and collaboration skills• Knowledge of data warehousing & analytics concepts• Understanding of data governance & compliance standards• Experience with real-time streaming (optional but preferred)• Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentDatabricks Certification – Preferred
