- Role: Senior ServiceNow developer - Location: Bangalore - Job Shift: 11AM-8PM IST - Working Model: HybridIntroSenior ServiceNow developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and customizing applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform to support IT service management and other business processes. You’ll be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements from business and IT teams, develop technical solutions using scripting (JavaScript, Glide Script), workflows, UI policies, business rules, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and administer ServiceNow instances across multiple environmentsSome of the things you’ll be doing:- Lead end-to-end development across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, ITAM, and other major ServiceNow modules. - Architect and implement customizations using Scoped Apps, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and advanced server-side scripting. - Build integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, OAuth, and MID Servers. - Develop automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and workflow tools. - Create and enhance Catalog Items, Record Producers, and request workflows. - Build and customize Service Portal widgets and UI components using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Maintain platform security and compliance through ACLs, roles, and policies. - Support upgrades, patching, instance health, and performance optimization. - Leverage out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities to reduce complexity and technical debt. - Lead or mentor junior developers and contribute to Agile delivery processes. - Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements. - Provide input to product roadmaps, architectural planning, and cross-team dependencies. - Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and support continuous improvement. - Foster a team environment grounded in collaboration, open communication, and shared success. - Model company values, uphold diversity standards, and drive high performance.What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders and clearly document them in development stories. - Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API (server & client), and platform scripting. - Proven experience across major modules: ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, SPM, or others. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, update sets, scoped development, and CI/CD with Git. - Solid background in integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub. - Ability to design high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. - ServiceNow CSA. - Experience with ATF, DevOps, or automated deployments. - Knowledge of ITIL or enterprise IT operations.Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and authentication protocols - Experience with NowMobile development - Experience with Service Portal and modern UI building. - ServiceNow Certifications such as; Technical Architect, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or additional certifications (ITAM, SPM, Discovery). - ITIL v4 Certification
