About the Role As a Senior Staff Engineer , you will help us transform healthcare through AI. You will oversee the engineering team’s day-to-day operations, helping drive successful delivery of projects and you will possess strong technical and leadership skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. What you’ll do Own the day-to-day of engineering delivery across multiple projects Translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable product and tech decisions Partner closely with Product, Clinical Ops, and other teams to define and ship the right things fast Maintain a high bar for engineering velocity, quality, and culture — balancing speed vs. debt Help build and mentor a team of 4+ engineers (across backend, data, and platform) Lead agile processes: sprint planning, retrospectives, and execution reviews Define and track engineering metrics and continuous improvement efforts You should have 8+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles Hands-on experience scaling teams and production systems in fast-moving environments Comfort across backend systems – Go, Scala, Java preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills across tech and non-tech stakeholders Experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required Why this role matters You’ll shape the tech that enables better outcomes for underserved patients You’ll work across domains — clinical, operations, data — in a team that values impact over noise You’ll help define engineering culture and ways of working from the ground up
