Assistant Payroll Manager

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a workforce of 3,000 employees. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Dayforce and working knowledge of Workday . This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 3,000 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. Utilize Dayforce as the primary payroll system while leveraging Workday for integration and reporting. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations. Handle payroll audits, tax filings, reconciliations, and statutory deductions. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to streamline payroll processes. Address payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and resolve any payroll-related issues promptly. Drive process improvements and automation to enhance payroll efficiency. Maintain and generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes. Key Requirements: 8+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a large organization. Must-have experience with Dayforce for payroll processing. Working knowledge of Workday for payroll-related operations. Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Payroll Management or related fields. Experience in process automation and payroll system optimization. Knowledge of global payroll practices is a plus.
