Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage our payroll operations for 1000+ blue-collar workers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in statutory and labour compliance, taxation, and team management. Immediate joiners are preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Payroll Management: Manage payroll operations for blue-collar workers, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursals. 2. Statutory & Labour Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, such as Provident Fund, ESI, and Labour Welfare Fund. 3. Taxation: Manage tax-related tasks, including TDS, income tax returns, and other tax compliance requirements. 4. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient payroll operations. 5. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. 6. Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. 7. Employee Queries: Respond to employee queries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely and professional manner. Requirements 1. Experience: Minimum 2+years of experience in payroll management, preferably with blue-collar workers. 2. Team Management: Proven experience in leading and managing a team of payroll professionals. 3. Statutory & Labour Compliance: Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements. 4. Taxation: Good understanding of taxation laws and regulations, including TDS and income tax returns. 5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. 6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels.
