Inviting applications for the role ofPrincipal Consultant-IT WPS Desktop Engineering Lead We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedIT Service Desktop engineering Leadto lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions across our organization. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities Device Lifecycle Management Own end-to-end lifecycle management ofWindows and Macintosh laptops . Plan and executeregular device refresh cycles , including forecasting and coordination with procurement, imaging, configuration, and deployment teams. Maintainasset tracking and reportingthroughout the device lifecycle. Overseesystem patching, security updates , andOS upgradesto align with vendor-supported versions. MonitorOS end-of-life timelinesand ensure proactive readiness for upgrades. Application Packaging & Catalog Management Leadend-to-end application packagingfor both Windows and macOS platforms. Manage packaging services to support new business requests and application needs. Overseeapplication catalog management , including onboarding, version control, and decommissioning obsolete packages. Conductperiodic auditsof application usage, license compliance, and package relevancy. Partner withsecurity and compliance teamsfor license, patch, and vulnerability management. Analyze application usage data to drive rationalization initiatives. Hardware Refresh Planning Maintain and updatehardware refresh modelsbased on lifecycle guidelines. Coordinate image deployment, device swaps, and decommissioning of retired hardware. Communicate with end users to ensure smooth transitions during refresh activities. Tool Administration & Governance Administer and managedesktop management tools , including: Microsoft Intune (Windows) JAMF Pro (macOS) PatchMyPCor equivalent patch management tools Ensure tools areoptimized, compliant, and alignedwith industry best practices. Monitor tool performance, patch compliance, and deployment success rates.Platform-Specific Responsibilities macOS Environment Troubleshoot macOS-related issues and provide end-user support. ManageIntune-enrolled macOS devicesand associated configuration policies. Handlelicense allocation, patch updates, and application deploymentsvia JAMF. Create and maintainconfiguration profilesand performmacOS compliance audits . Intune Environment Troubleshoot Intune enrollment and policy-related issues. Manage device compliance, configuration, andCloud PC environments . Oversee application lifecycle and license allocation. Packaging Environment PackageWin32 applicationsand performUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) . Handle custom packaging requests and manage deployments to production. MaintainPatchMyPCfor automated patch management. VDI Environment Administer and maintainVirtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)environments. Manage automation scripts, privilege controls, and application deployment. SupportNetskope ,Entra ID ,Privileged Single Sign-On (PSSO) , andendpoint security compliance . Provideremote supportfor end-user devices (laptops, printers, mobiles) and coordinate with onsite teams for hardware checks and triaging. Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD. Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, and Autopilot. Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills. Experience designing large-scale Windows desktop environments. Understanding of networking, cloud architecture, and security frameworks.Qualifications we seek in you! Relevant yearsof progressive experience inDesktop Engineering / EUC / Device Managementroles with at least minimum years in Architectural roles Strong technical expertise inMicrosoft Intune, JAMF Pro, PatchMyPC , andWindows/macOS administration . Proven experience managingpackaging, patching, and complianceoperations at scale. Deep understanding ofVDI, Entra ID, SSO, and endpoint security frameworks . Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills. ITIL Certifiedwith sound understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence and automation.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Exposure to Exchange Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Exposure to ServiceNowor other ITSM platforms . Prior experience in global or multi-region IT operations. Strong focus on security compliance and audit readiness.
