Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:- Evaluate the performance and degradation of PEM electrolyzer stacks and components over time - Identify and mitigate potential failure modes using tools like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). - Design and execute reliability testing plans and protocols for PEM electrolyser / batteries and their subsystems. This includes accelerated stress screen testing, durability assessments and performance mapping. - Collaborate with test engineers to design and execute long-term reliability tests under various operating conditions. - Work with materials scientists to assess how different materials affect system durability and efficiency. - Work with manufacturing and quality control teams to improve production processes. Implement quality control procedures and specifications to minimize defects and ensure a reliable product. - Analyze operational data to detect trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. - Maintain detailed documentation of test results, analysis, and engineering recommendations. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders. - Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives. - Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Desired Qualification :- B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical /Materials or Metallurgy background with 10+ year of experience or Ph. D in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in product/battery testing and material characterization. - Deep knowledge in electrochemical characterization techniques: CV, LSV, EIS and standard testing protocol for electrolyzer / batteries. - Proven ability to bridge engineering and operational teams to drive measurable product improvements. - Strong data analysis skills; proficiency with reliability tools and statistical software. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
