What You’ll Be Doing: Leading the deployment of verification tools, platforms, and strategies for advanced IPs and sub-systems. Driving simulation-based and hardware-assisted verification initiatives, including thorough debugging and root cause analysis. Applying expertise across a broad spectrum of verification technologies—simulation, static, and formal—to ensure robust coverage and quality. Developing and enhancing verification methodologies, including the creation of verification cockpits and automation of CAD flows. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including IP design, DV, and tools teams, to deliver high-quality products. Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, actively fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Contributing to the evolution of best practices in verification and championing innovation within the team. Contributing to Synopsys’ reputation as a global leader in EDA and semiconductor technology. What You’ll Need: 15-20 years of experience in verification engineering for complex hardware systems. Deep expertise in simulation and debug, with a proven track record of silicon success. Hands-on experience with static and formal verification tools and methodologies. Proficiency in developing and deploying verification methodologies, including verification cockpits and CAD flows. Familiarity with industry-standard verification languages (SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA) and scripting (Python, Perl, TCL). Exposure to hardware-assisted verification environments such as FPGA prototyping and emulation is a strong plus.
