Job Description:

Purpose of the Position:Provide advisory, pre-sales, and competency development support for Infocepts’ retail practice in the areas of data, analytics, and AI. The position enables Infocepts to meet its business goals by acquiring new and growing existing accounts using a portfolio of current and emerging offerings enabled through the competencies. The position is responsible for thought leadership, discovery and solutioning, proposals, strategic advisory consulting, and capability development to include talent and expertise. The position works closely with architects, pre-sales, sales, and other practice teams supported by a global delivery model.Key Result Areas and Activities- Consulting for New and Existing Clients – Provide specialized retail advisory and consulting services to new and existing customers, share relevant advisories for customers, address unmet needs, expand relationships, manage client expectations, and maintain assigned utilization. - Systematically Develop and Maintain Offerings – Identify niche gaps that exist within retail solution providers and prepare a business case to invest in expanding the idea into a packaged solution. Provide stewardship guidance to solutions aligned to the competency that can be a core differentiator for Infocepts. Support offering development and its pilot implementation. Develop implementation methodologies, processes, templates, and internalize for the prioritized solutions. - Provide Sales Support – Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting discovery workshops, developing points of view/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement with functional and domain expertise. - Thought Leadership – Build and share experience and evidence-based thought leadership in the retail industry through various channels such as professional social media, blogs, white papers, webinars, events, and conferences. - Support Organizational Strategy – Contribute to practice development including sharing and building expertise, nurturing and growing talent, capability and offering development, and corporate initiatives as assigned.Roles and ResponsibilityEssential Skills- Consulting for new and existing clients – Provide specialized retail advisory and consulting services, address unmet needs, expand relationships, and manage client expectations. - Systematically develop and maintain offerings – Identify gaps in retail solutions, prepare business cases, and guide solution development. - Provide sales support – Engage in pre-sales activities, discovery workshops, solution scoping, proposal writing, and partner engagement. - Thought leadership – Share experience-based insights through blogs, white papers, webinars, and industry events. - Support organizational strategy – Contribute to practice development, capability building, and corporate initiatives. - Experience in retail domain with strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI solutions. - Ability to create packaged solutions and develop implementation methodologies. - Strong communication and presentation skills for thought leadership activities.Desirable Skills- Familiarity with sales enablement processes and marketing strategies. - Exposure to global delivery models and cross-functional collaboration.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus) - Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods - At least 14+ years of IT experienceQualities:- Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes in a self-organized and cross-functional team - Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations - Able to work with teams and clients in different time zones - Be detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive while exploring unchartered challenges
