Job Title: Python Developer / Backend Engineer (Platform Support Engineer Role) Location: Bengaluru Experience: 2 to 3 Years About the Role We’re hiring a hands-on Python Developer / Backend Engineer who enjoys solving real-time production challenges, automating tasks, and ensuring high platform reliability. This opportunity is ideal for developers who want to combine coding, automation, and system reliability — as part of a dynamic Platform Support Engineering (PSE) team. Key Responsibilities Analyze and resolve runtime issues in production and staging environments. Debug backend logic, API flows, and SQL queries to identify and fix root causes. Develop Python automation scripts and tools to reduce manual / repetitive tasks. Collaborate closely with developers and SRE teams to deploy fixes and enhancements. Proactively monitor systems and build anomaly detectors for early issue detection. Maintain records of incidents, resolutions, and improvement actions. Continuously improve platform stability, reliability, and automation coverage. Technical Skills Required Strong hands-on experience in Python (development or scripting). Proficient in MySQL — writing and optimizing SQL queries. Familiarity with Linux / Shell scripting . Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, or other automation tools . Exposure to any of the following is a plus: Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, Zookeeper, Storm, HBase, or Aerospike. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Preferred Background 2–3 years of experience as a Python Developer / Backend Engineer / Automation Engineer / Platform Engineer .
