Head of Embedded

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Solutions Head for Embedded to lead the presales function for our automotive, aerospace, chip design, healthcare and plant automation business verticals. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales and engineering teams, provide deep domain and technical expertise, and support the sales process by crafting tailored embedded solutions that meet customer requirements. Experience : 15+ years in experience in embedded systems and technology consulting. Job Description Lead and manage the global presales team for embedded solutions across multiple domains. Define presales frameworks, solution blueprints, and go-to-market strategies. Serve as a senior technical leader interfacing with C-level stakeholders and clients. Understand complex customer requirements and architect embedded solutions (hardware/software/systems) tailored to each industry. Create high-impact RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, PoCs, and cost models. Ensure proposals are technically sound, competitively priced, and aligned with customer pain points and business outcomes. Act as the technical face of the organization in client discussions, workshops, and bid defenses. Engage directly with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, healthcare providers, chip manufacturers, and system integrators. Translate customer requirements into implementable solutions and bridge gaps between business and engineering teams. Mentor, develop, and grow the presales engineering team, including domain experts and solution architects. Promote cross-domain learning and establish best practices for solution design and proposal development. Monitor KPIs, deal conversions, and solution quality metrics. Stay updated on emerging technologies and standards across domains: Automotive : AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ADAS, EV systems. Aerospace : DO-178C, ARINC standards, real-time avionics systems. Chip Design : SoC/ASIC/FPGA architectures, RTL design, verification methodologies. Healthcare : Embedded medical devices, IEC 62304, FDA/CE regulations. Plant Automation : PLC, SCADA, HMI, OPC UA, Industrial IoT. Contribute to whitepapers, product strategy, and innovation roadmaps. Technical: Deep expertise in embedded platforms (ARM, RISC-V, DSPs, SoCs, RTOS). Experience with C/C++, Verilog/VHDL, MATLAB/Simulink, and safety/security standards. Knowledge of industry protocols and real-time communication systems.
