We focus on outcomes, not just outputs, and strive for excellence every day.If you're driven by bold ideas and want to make a real impact, BIAL is the place to be.Job PurposeThe role is central to the cargo vertical’s objective of positioning BLR Airport as one of the most efficient and leading cargo hubs in India by building an integrated logistics ecosystem aligned with global standards.The Deputy Manager – Cargo Business Integration will support the cargo vertical by managing data analytics, reporting, insights, digital and operational interactions related to cargo systems, particularly the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Airport Cargo Community System (ACS).The role will work closely with cargo terminal operators, airlines, freight forwarders, and government agencies to ensure seamless cargo operations and digital integration across stakeholders. Additionally, the role will provide to support cargo strategy, operational efficiency, and development of BLR’s cargo offerings.1. Principal Accountabilities / Key ResponsibilitiesCargo Systems & Digital Integration- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) provider. - Coordinate with cargo terminal operators, airlines, freight forwarders, customs, and government agencies for ACS integration and system usage. - Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) interface with system providers and ensure smooth operational functionality. - Support system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution for cargo digital platforms.Stakeholder Coordination- Liaise with cargo terminal operators and internal teams to ensure seamless cargo system integration. - Facilitate collaboration with regulatory and government authorities for cargo system compliance and adoption. - Support engagement with cargo ecosystem partners to improve operational processes.Data Analytics & Reporting- Extract, analyse, and interpret operational data from WMS and ACS platforms. - Develop periodic reports, dashboards, and analytics insights to support decision-making. - Provide analytical inputs to support cargo growth initiatives and operational improvements.Operational Support- Support concessioner management in conducting Business contingency & emergency response exercise at selected cargo terminals. - Support concessioner management to conduct custodian compliance audit and statutory inspections - Provide coordination support for Method of Work Permits (MOWP), ensuring timely approvals and compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements - Support implementation of digital initiatives and cargo process automation. - Assist in monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. - Provide analytical and operational support for cargo strategy and service development initiatives.2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Efficiency of WMS and ACS system coordination - Stakeholder adoption of cargo digital platforms - Quality and timeliness of cargo operational reporting - Support to cargo operational improvements and digital initiatives - Effective coordination with cargo ecosystem stakeholders3.
