Job Title Manager / Assistant Manager – HR (PMS, KPI & Compensation) Location Bangalore(with travel across retail stores & manufacturing units) About GIVA GIVA is a fast-growing D2C jewelry brand redefining affordable luxury in India, with a strong presence across online channels, retail stores, and manufacturing operations. Role Overview This role is responsible for driving a performance-led culture at GIVA by owning the Performance Management System (PMS), designing KPIs across Corporate, Retail, and Manufacturing teams, and managing salary banding and compensation structures. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who can build, implement, and scale systems in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Performance Management System (PMS) Drive end-to-end PMS cycles (goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals) Ensure alignment of individual goals with business objectives Enable clear performance differentiation across teams Conduct calibration discussions and train managers on effective evaluations 2. KPI Framework Design Design and implement function-specific KPIs: Retail:Sales, conversion, ATV, store productivity D2C / Corporate:Conversion, CAC, ROI, growth metrics Manufacturing:Output, quality, operational efficiency Ensure KPIs are simple, measurable, and aligned with business goals 3. Compensation & Salary Banding Design and manage salary band structures across roles and levels Ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness Drive annual increments, variable pay structures, and retention strategies 4. Retail Incentive Programs Design and implement store-level incentive programs linked to performance Ensure incentive plans are simple, motivating, and cost-effective 5. Analytics & Governance Track and analyze pay vs performance trends Measure effectiveness of incentives and productivity metrics Develop and maintain PMS and compensation policies with compliance focus 6. Stakeholder Management Partner with leaders across Retail, Corporate, and Manufacturing functions Act as a point of contact for employee queries on appraisals and compensation Qualifications & Experience MBA / PGDM in Human Resources 6–12 years of experience in PMS and Compensation roles Prior experience in D2C and/or Retail industry preferred Success Metrics Timely and effective completion of PMS cycles Strong adoption of KPIs across functions Improved performance differentiation Effective and impactful retail incentive programs Reduction in pay disparity and compensation-related issues
