Akamai Analyst

- Configure and manage Akamai CDN for large-scale global websites to improve performance and availability - Analyze Akamai traffic reports and RUM (mPulse) data to identify performance bottlenecks and fine-tune edge delivery - Implement edge caching strategies, redirect rules, and performance tuning using Akamai Property Manager - Maintain EdgeWorkers for geo-based routing, header manipulations, and token validation - Automate cache purging and configuration deployments using Akamai CLI and Fast Purge APIs - Configure and manage Akamai services including Web Application Firewall, DNS, and Content Delivery Network settings - Contribute to traffic resiliency and scalability through caching, failover policies, and traffic segmentation at the edgeSkills/Qualifications:- Strong experience configuring Akamai Property Manager for web acceleration and asset offloading - Hands-on with Akamai EdgeWorkers for custom edge logic and real-time decision making - Proficient in analyzing and debugging Akamai traffic using tools like mPulse, Edge Diagnostics, and RUM - Deep understanding of caching policies, TTL tuning, and performance headers (cache-control, surrogate keys, etc.) - Familiarity with Fast Purge, Akamai APIs, CLI, and integration with CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of web performance best practices including lazy loading, compression, and image optimization - Experience with security rules at the edge (WAF, geo-blocking, bot management, token auth) - Experience collaborating in agile/scrum development environments with cross-functional teamsTechnologies:Akamai CDN & Edge Delivery, Web Performance Optimization, Traffic Management & Monitoring, Security & Access Control, DevOps & Automation
