Commercial Lines Underwriter

Job Summary We're looking for a skilled Commercial Lines Underwriter to handle commercial clients, prepare RFQs, compare quotes, and provide exceptional client servicing. Key Responsibilities 1. Renewal Portfolio Expansion: Ensure renewal portfolio growth through relationship building and strategic planning. 2. Financial Targets: Achieve financial targets and brokerage earned by the organization. 3. Policy Review: Review existing policies, identify gaps in coverage, and provide recommendations. 4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. 5. Client Servicing: Provide exceptional client servicing, including policy renewals, retention, and technical support. 6. New Business Acquisition: Collaborate with the business development team to acquire new clients. 7. Brokerage Recovery: Assist in brokerage recovery and provide technical support as needed. Desired Candidate Profile  1. Experience: 5+ years of underwriting experience in any of the following sectors: Health , Commercial Lines (Non-EB) , or Property 2. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of general insurance products, including fire, marine, property, and engineering. 3. Client Servicing: Proven experience in client servicing and relationship management. 4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
