Job Title- Visual Designer (Graphics & Motion)In-house | Full-time About Turno Turno builds the infrastructure that makes electric mobility work as a business. We operate across commercial EV financing, battery repurposing, energy storage (BESS), and electric bus leasing. Our work sits at the intersection of mobility, energy, and finance — solving real adoption problems like affordability, residual value, and lifecycle economics. We don’t sell aspiration. We build systems that reduce risk and make unit economics work. Our audiences range from auto-rickshaw drivers to enterprise BESS buyers to fleet owners evaluating electric buses. That means clarity matters more than polish, and usefulness matters more than decoration. Role Overview : Years of experience -1- 4 Years of experience We’re looking for anin-house Visual Designer (Graphics + Motion)who thinkssolution-first , not output-first. This is not a narrowly defined design role. This is for someone who candecode complex business and product ideas into clear, usable visual communication— across static, motion, and video formats. You’ll act as aninternal design engine , working closely with product marketing, sales enablement, product teams, and external agencies to solve communication problems through design. What You’ll Do Core Responsibilities Translatecomplex ideas(vehicles, batteries, financing, lifecycle flows) intoclear visuals Designinfographics, diagrams, layouts, and visual systemsthat explain how things work Createmotion-first thinkingthat can scale into: Short videos Reels Explainers Event screens Sales decks Be alayout-first designer— strong sense of hierarchy, flow, and readability Owndesign asset creationacross static and video formats Define and maintainbrand guardrails and design guidelines Lead theshared design request processinternally Work closely withexternal agency partners , reviewing and guiding output Deliver objective-driven design, not aesthetic-only work What We’re Looking For Design & Thinking Skills Strong ability tovisualise systems, components, and processes Comfortable working withvehicles, hardware, components, charts, and data Thinks insolutions , not just screens or posters Can tell storiesindependent of format(static, motion, video, script) Comfortable experimenting and iterating quickly Tools & Technical Comfort Strong fundamentals in graphic design Motion graphics understanding (After Effects or equivalent) Comfortable withAI-assisted design tools(e.g. Kling, Nano Banana, Higgsfield or similar) Basic video editing capability Curious and proactive aboutnew tools and workflows Experience & Mindset Experience working in afast-paced startup environment Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving briefs Doesn’t wait for perfect inputs — works with what’s available Business-first mindset: understandswhysomething is being made Willing to experiment, learn, and adapt continuously You’ll often be given: A problem statement A target audience A business objective Your role is topropose and execute the right visual solution .
