Role OverviewTheBilling Manager – MEPis responsible for managing billing, measurement verification, and commercial documentation related toMechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)works across Zyeta’s workplace design and build projects.This role ensures thatMEP quantities, vendor bills, and client invoicesare accurately verified and processed in alignment with project scope, BOQs, and contractual agreements. The Billing Manager works closely withproject managers, MEP engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and finance teamsto ensure billing accuracy, timely invoice submission, and proper financial tracking of MEP works.You are someone who bringstechnical understanding of MEP systems, strong attention to detail, and commercial disciplineto ensure billing processes are structured, transparent, and aligned with project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesMEP Billing & Measurement Verification • Manage billing processes for allMEP worksacross workplace design and build projects. • Verify quantities and measurements of executed MEP works based on BOQs and drawings. • Review vendor bills and ensure they align with actual work completed on site. • Prepare and validate client invoices related to MEP project milestones. • Ensure billing documentation is accurate and supported with measurement sheets and approvals.BOQ & Commercial Documentation • Review and maintainMEP BOQs, rate analysis, and billing documentation . • Track variations, scope changes, and additional works impacting MEP billing. • Ensure all commercial documentation is aligned with project contracts and specifications. • Maintain detailed records of billing approvals, work completion certifications, and measurement sheets.Vendor Billing & Cost Tracking • Verify subcontractor and vendor bills related toHVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems . • Ensure vendor invoices match the agreed BOQ rates and executed quantities. • Track MEP cost utilization against project budgets. • Support procurement and project teams in resolving billing discrepancies.Client Billing & Revenue Coordination • Coordinate with project teams to raiseclient invoices aligned with MEP milestones . • Track submitted invoices and support finance teams in payment follow-ups. • Maintain records of pending billing, client approvals, and receivables. • Ensure transparency and accuracy in client billing processes.Site Coordination • Work closely withMEP engineers and site teamsto validate executed work quantities. • Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and billing documentation. • Ensure MEP works billed correspond to actual work completed on-site.Documentation & Compliance • Maintain complete documentation forMEP billing, measurements, and approvals . • Ensure billing processes comply with contractual agreements and internal financial policies. • Support internal audits and financial reviews related to project billing.Who You Are • A detail-oriented professional with strong understanding ofMEP systems and construction billing processes . • A structured thinker who ensures commercial documentation and billing processes are accurate and organized. • A collaborative professional who works effectively with project, procurement, and finance teams. • A proactive problem solver who identifies discrepancies and resolves billing issues quickly. • Someone who thrives infast-paced project environments requiring precision and accountability .Qualifications & Experience •6–10 years of experiencein billing or commercial management related toMEP worksin construction or interior fit-out projects. • Strong understanding ofMEP BOQs, measurement sheets, and subcontractor billing processes . • Experience verifying bills forHVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems . • Familiarity with project documentation, contract terms, and milestone-based billing structures. • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills. • Bachelor’s degree inMechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fieldpreferred.Why Zyeta At Zyeta, leaders are doers.
