Job OverviewThe US Tax Senior Associate will be part of the U.S. tax practice supporting U.S. clients and onshore teams. The role involves handling complex tax compliance work, reviewing U.S. tax returns, performing tax research, and supporting planning engagements. The position also includes mentoring junior team members and coordinating with U.S.-based stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Return Preparation- Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S - Handle multi-state and multi-entity filings - Review workpapers, partner allocations, basis calculations, and K-1 reporting - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of returnsTechnical Research & Planning- Perform U.S. tax research on federal and state tax matters - Assist in analyzing tax law changes and their impact on clients - Support tax planning initiatives and documentation of tax positionsClient & Engagement Support- Coordinate with U.S. engagement teams on deliverables and issue resolution - Assist in responding to client queries and follow-ups - Support engagement managers with project tracking and reportingTeam Development- Guide, mentor, and review work of junior associates - Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives - Support training and knowledge-sharing activities within the teamRequired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field - 2–5+ years of experience in U.S. tax compliance - Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations - Experience with U.S. tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, OneSource, or similar) - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to work in a deadline-driven, global delivery environment
