Job Description – Legal Operations AssistantCastellan Real Estate Partners -India (Remote) Job Title:Legal Operations Assistant Location:Remote (India) Work Hours : 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM ISTAbout the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our legal team. The role focuses on document management, tracking, coordination and follow-ups for US real estate and compliance related matters, primarily involving California and New York. This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable providing legal support to lawyers in a corporate setup through structured administrative work and coordination in a remote environment.Key Responsibilities: · Organize, maintain and update legal documents, contracts, regulatory developments, legal updates and reference materials. · Maintain trackers for litigation management, compliance tasks and ongoing projects. · Follow up with internal teams for documents, information, and status updates. · Support pre-litigation processes by compiling and organizing documentation for internal review. · Ensure legal records are accurate, current and easily retrievable. · Provide general administrative support to the legal team.Qualifications & Skills: · Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline. Please note that candidates with a law degree are welcome butthe role is administrative in nature and does not require enrolment with the bar. · One - Three years of experience in a legal support or legal operations role. · Comfortable working with MS Word, Adobe, Dropbox, and . · Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to manage critical administrative tasks. · Ability and willingness to work during US business hours and manage multiple follow-ups.Preferred (Not Mandatory): · Experience supporting US-based real estate teams or property management companies. · Prior exposure to US-based legal teams.
