GCP Data Engineer (Contract | Remote) Location:Remote (India or LATAM preferred) Contract:6–12 months (extension likely) Start:ASAPOverview We are supporting a large, enterprise-scale organization undergoing a significant modernization of its data and analytics platform. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experiencedGCP Data Engineerto help design, build, and scale cloud-native data solutions while collaborating closely with analytics, AI/ML, and business stakeholders.This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, comfortable owning infrastructure and pipelines end-to-end, and able to communicate clearly in a global, distributed environment.Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) Work across thefull GCP ecosystem , including services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Composer Develop and manageInfrastructure as Code (IaC)usingTerraform(writing from scratch, not just modifying existing modules) Partner with analytics, data science, and business teams to support reporting, AI/ML, and GenAI use cases Ensure data reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency Contribute to cloud architecture decisions and best practices Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across regionsRequired Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience as aGCP Data Engineer Deep understanding of theGCP data ecosystem Proven experience buildingTerraform IaC from scratch Solid programming experience inPython Experience supportingAI/ML or GenAI workloadsin a data platform environment Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders Experience working in large, enterprise or complex data environmentsNice to Have Exposure toMLOpsor ML platform support Experience with CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments Prior experience working with globally distributed teams Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or enterprise data platformsWhy Apply Long-term contract with extension potential Enterprise-scale data platform and modern cloud stack Opportunity to support AI/ML and GenAI initiatives Fully remote role with flexible working environment
