About InfoNet: InfoNet is an innovative technology solutions company helping organizations make data-driven decisions through advanced analytics, AI, and optimization.Job Description: We are looking for aSenior Data Engineerwho is a strongindividual contributorand is comfortable working withexisting analyses, notebooks, Excel, or ad-hoc SQL/Python scriptsand converting them intoclean, scalable, production-grade data pipelines and services .This role requires strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintainproduction-grade data pipelinesusing Python and SQL Reverse engineer existing data analyses , reports, or exploratory scripts and transform them into reliable, maintainable systems Work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust solutions Optimize complex SQL queries for performance, correctness, and scalability Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring Ensure code quality through proper structure, documentation, and testing Take ownership of data workflows from design to deployment and ongoing maintenance Debug and troubleshoot data issues across the pipelineQualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experiencein data engineering or related roles Strong proficiency inPython(clean code, modular design, testing) Strong proficiency inSQL , including: Complex joins, Aggregations, Window functions, Query optimization Experience converting exploratory or analytical work into production systems Solid understanding of: Data modeling concepts, ETL / ELT patterns, Batch and/or near-real-time data processing Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical thinking and attention to detailWhat We Offer: Remote Work:Flexible remote work setup with periodic team meetings in Gurugram.
