Platform Engineer – Python / Databricks / Notebooks/ KubernetesJob Description Syntasa is seeking a high-caliber and dedicatedPlatform Engineerto join its India subsidiary,Syntasa Technologies India Private Limited . This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a world-class development and support center. The India operations will serve as an extension of Syntasa’s US-based software development and support functions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop and maintainscalable data pipelinesand platform services usingPython ,Apache Spark , andDatabricks . Develop and managenotebook-based workflows(Jupyter, Databricks, etc.) for data processing, analysis, and automation. Build and optimizedata integration workflowsand reusable components for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration. Deploy and manage workloads onKubernetes , ensuring scalability and reliability. Implement and maintaincloud-native solutionsonAWS, GCP, or Azure . Collaborate withdata science, application, and platform teamsto deliver efficient and robust data services. Driveautomation, observability, and CI/CDimprovements across the platform Skills & ExperienceMust-Have: Strong experience inPythonfor data engineering, scripting, and automation. Solid understanding ofApache Sparkand distributed data processing. Experience working withnotebooks(Jupyter, Zeppelin, or Databricks). Hands-on experience withKubernetesfor container orchestration, workload deployments and scaling. Nice to Have: Familiarity withDevOps practices ,CI/CD pipelines , andcloud environments(AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience withKafka ,real-time streaming ,Java/Spring Boot . Knowledge ofRDBMS (PostgreSQL)andNoSQLdatabases. Knowledge of BigData services like BigQuery, BigTable, Hive RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) inComputer Science, Engineering , or a related field. 4+ yearsof progressive experience as aSoftware Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer . Strongproblem-solving ,collaboration , andcommunicationskills. Ability to thrive in afast-paced, distributed engineering environment .
