You will work closely with product and engineering teams to prototype, fine-tune, and productionize AI models that power intelligent automation and real-world advisory systems. Our mission is to empower organizations to build and operate secure applications through strategy-driven, risk-based, and modern security practices. We're looking for a seasoned Applied AI Engineer. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimize machine learning models for multi-turn dialogue, entity extraction, reasoning, and decision-making. Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., GPT, Mistral, LLaMA) for domain-specific use cases using open-source frameworks. Evaluate model performance using qualitative and quantitative methods (BLEU, ROUGE, Precision/Recall, etc.) Contribute to rapid experimentation pipelines and scalable AI deployments. Work with platform engineers to package models for secure, efficient inference (on-premise/cloud). Keep up with the latest developments in agentic AI, NLP, and LLM alignment. Requirements1–2 years of experience in applied ML or AI research roles. 3+ years of experience in software engineering or Data Scientist. Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace, or LangChain. Experience fine-tuning or customizing LLMs, especially for reasoning, dialogue, or retrieval-augmented generation. Strong understanding of NLP and generative model architectures. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or a related field. Pre: Familiarity with agent frameworks or function-calling architectures.Working HoursRemote-first with some overlap required for team meetings in Europe time zones.Compensation and advantagesBase salary of 30-40k dollars plus bonus compensation above market compensation. Minimum 1 x trip to Europe for team building, all expenses covered. Office in Bangalore to work.
