About the jobJob Description: Role-Azure Data Lead Location:Remote Experience:8+ Years Employment Type:Full-timeNote : Azure MandatoryAbout the RoleImplement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Databricks, along with traditional data warehouse tools. Engage in various aspects of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering (infrastructure, network, security, and administration), data ingestion, preparation, modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, alerting, and production support. Provide technical leadership, collaborate within a team environment, and work independently as needed. Collaborate closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide valuable insights for better decision-making. Be an integral part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports its product. Implement batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies. Demonstrate senior-level expertise with Databricks and other analytics tools for moving and transforming data across platforms. Exhibit senior-level proficiency with Azure and its services. Lead and mentor others with senior-level experience. Formulate solutions and identify problems with senior-level expertise. Work in a shift that aligns with the CST time zone and collaborate with a geographically dispersed team. Utilize Agile methodologies and possess strong written and oral communication skills.Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. 5 years of experience in software solution development using Agile and DevOps, operating in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions. 5+ years of data analytics experience using SQL. 5+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. Combination of development, administration, and support experience in several of the following tools/platforms: Scripting: Python, PySpark, Unix, SQL. Data Platforms: Teradata, SQL Server, ADLS, Azure Data Explorer (administration skills a plus) Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform BI Analytics Tool Stack: Cognos, Power BI 5+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI. Expertise with the Azure technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and creating consumption layers. Azure Development Track Certification (preferred).
