Data Solutions Director

We are recruiting aData Solutions Directorto join a leadingInsurance Companyin India. This role carries both strategic and operational leadership responsibilities, managing Principal Analysts across APAC and working closely with data engineering, development, and global teams. You will be responsible for establishing regional standards for semantic models, unified data definitions, and Power BI solutions, while guiding the deployment of GenAI capabilities and ensuring consistent data governance across multiple markets.Required Skills & Qualifications Over 7 years’ experience in data solutions, analytics, BI, or data product roles, including recent people management. Demonstrable experience withinGeneral Insurancedata domains. Expert-level proficiency inPower BI(Premium, XMLA, ALM, optimization, governance). Experience withSnowflake and/or AWS Redshift , plus ETL/ELT tooling such asInformatica . Strong background in semantic model design and unified enterprise data models. Hands-on experience deliveringGenAIapplications (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototyping), with understanding of responsible AI. Experience implementing enterprisedata catalog and lineageplatforms. Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality across multiple markets. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with proven success engaging senior executives internationally.
