Job Description Job Title: Snowflake Platform AdministratorAbout the Role We are looking for aSnowflake Administratorto join our Snowflake Center of Excellence ( COE ) to manage, secure, and optimize the enterprise Snowflake data platform. The role will focus on platform administration, security governance, and automation while enabling data engineering, analytics, and business teams to effectively leverage Snowflake capabilities.Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain the Snowflake platform , including warehouses, databases, schemas, users, roles, and resource monitors. Implement and manageSnowflake securityandaccess governanceincludingRBAC ,network policies , andnetwork rules . Manage identity and access integration withAzure Active Directory (Azure AD) , including role mapping with Azure AD groups. Monitor platform performance ,usage , andcostto ensure efficient and reliable operations. Manage key Snowflake capabilities includingdata sharing (consumer and provider) ,cloning ,datarecovery ,integrations (storage/API/notification) , andperformance optimization . Developautomation scriptsusingSQLandPythonfor administrative and operational tasks. Create and maintain CI/CD workflows usingGitHubActions for Snowflake deployments. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects to ensure secure and scalable data platform usage. Stay up to date with Snowflake product releases, new features, and platform best practices, and proactively evaluate their applicability to the organization. Contribute tostandards ,best practices , andgovernance frameworkswithin the Snowflake COE. Explore opportunities toleverage AIto improve platform automation and productivity.Required Experience & Skills: 5-8 years of relevant experienceinSnowflake Administration and platform management. Solid understanding ofSnowflake architecture ,security ,features , andperformanceoptimization . Experience implementingRBAC ,Network Policies , andNetwork Rulesin Snowflake. Experience withSnowflake integration with Azure ADfor role and access management via AD groups. Proficiency inSQLandPythonscripting. Experience withGitHubandGitHub Actions/Workflowcreation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Functional Domain: FMCH (Fast Moving Consumer Health).Preferred Additional Skills: AI enthusiast and Automation expertise Understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes and real-time processing Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker
