To strengthen our marketing and thought-leadership initiatives, we are seeking aFreelance Video Editorwith provenexpertise in editing content for the IT and technology domain.About CodeVyasa:CodeVyasa is a mid-sized product engineering company that works with top-tier product/solutions companies such as McKinsey, Walmart, RazorPay, Swiggy, and others. We are about 550+ people strong and we cater to Product & Data Engineering use-cases around Agentic AI, RPA, Full-stack and various other GenAI areas.Key Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, and internal communications. Add music, graphics, animations, subtitles, and effects to enhance video quality. Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to understand requirements and deliver content within deadlines. Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms. Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and best practices. Manage and organize video assets and project files for easy access. Requirements Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Basic knowledge of sound design, color correction, and motion graphics is a plus. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with social media content creation (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.). Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage.
