The AI engineer leads development of our core analysis engine, architecting machine learning models for real-time 3D CAD geometry analysis, predicting manufacturing issues, and providing actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Key responsibilities include designing ML models for geometric analysis, developing computer vision algorithms for feature detection, building predictive models for manufacturing cost estimation, and creating real-time inference engines for browser-based deployment. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience, strong proficiency in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks, and expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for browser-based AI deployment. They should also have experience with 3D geometry processing using libraries like Open3D, PCL, or similar, as well as understanding of CAD file formats and 3D mesh processing.
