Soldering & PCB Testing Technician

Location: Jigani, BangaloreAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Soldering & PCB Testing Technician to join our robotics and electronics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in PCB assembly, precision soldering, wiring harness creation, and functional board testing. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic systems powering our robotics solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPCB Assembly & Rework: Perform precision soldering/rework of SMD, through-hole, and BGA components.Wiring Harness: Crimp, assemble, and test wiring harnesses for robotic applications.Robot Assembly Support: Assist with basic robot assembly, including the use of mechanical tools and equipment.Testing & Debugging: Test and debug PCBs using oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, and function generator.System-Level Testing: Conduct functional testing with motors, BLDC controllers, and DC servo systems.Defect Analysis: Identify defective boards/wiring, rework, and validate fixes.Quality & Compliance: Maintain proper ESD practices, documentation logs, and defect tracking reports.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience: 5–7 years of hands-on soldering, PCB testing, and wiring harness assembly.Technical Expertise:Skilled in SMD (0201, 0402, 0603), QFN, QFP, and BGA soldering/rework.Proficient in crimping, wiring, and basic robot assembly.Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts.Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. in Electronics or equivalent.Preferred: Experience in electronics manufacturing, robotics, automotive, or embedded systems industries.Soft SkillsHigh attention to detail and quality focus.Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.Good communication and problem-solving skills.
