Lead Software Tester

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to lead our QA team and help us scale further. Job Description: We are a leading web and mobile platform looking for a talented Lead QA Engineer to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation strategies, establishing QA processes across multiple platforms, and collaborating with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development. Key Responsibilities: Mentor and lead the QA team, defining quality standards and best practices Design and implement test automation strategies for regression and performance testing Establish and maintain QA processes across Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), Backend (Elixir/NodeJS), and Infrastructure (Kubernetes) Collaborate with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes Manage test environments and coordinate testing activities across platforms Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reporting Mentor junior QA engineers and help grow the QA function Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field At least 5 years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Hands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, BrowserStack Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript Experience testing Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), and Backend (Elixir/NodeJS) Performance testing experience (JMeter, K6, or similar) Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and database testing Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Experience working in startups and remote teams Self-driven, organized, and proactive Bonus Points For: Infrastructure testing experience (Kubernetes, Docker) Mobile automation testing expertise Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools Load and stress testing experience Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with test management tools Understanding of security testing practices Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Cloud platform experience About Our Culture: Fully remote: Work from anywhere Asynchronous culture: Minimal meetings, maximum focus time Flexible schedule: Own your calendar Growth opportunities: Help shape QA from the ground up Impact: Work on a platform with 150,000+ users Collaborative team: Supportive, motivated colleagues
