Data Engineer

PvX Partners is hiring a skilled Data Engineer to help scale our data pipelines, automate validation processes, and ensure data quality across all financing workflows.This role blends traditional data engineering with smart automation — building tools and checks that make our underwriting data flows more accurate, robust, and scalable. You'll work directly with both internal teams and clients to design clean, automated systems for ingestion, monitoring, and reporting.Responsibilities: Maintain and optimize our data infrastructure for scale, reliability, and cost-efficiency Build and enhance automated data pipelines, including validation, cleaning, and reconciliation logic Design and implement data quality checks, alerts, and reporting automations across ingestion and processing layers Collaborate with clients on integration and monitor data health proactively Work closely with the product and analytics teams to improve data accessibility and operational workflowsSkills and Expertise: 6–8 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with experience building modular, testable pipelines Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, or similar orchestration/data transformation tools Familiarity with data quality frameworks or building custom validation/alerting systems Experience on cloud platforms (preferably GCP) Excellent communication skills and comfort working with clients and stakeholders Bonus: Experience in gaming, fintech, or consumer appsAbout PvX Partners: PvX Partners is a venture-backed financing platform supporting high-growth gaming and consumer app companies Our flagship product, PvX Capital, provides flexible, non-dilutive credit lines to help founders scale user acquisition — powered by PvX Lambda, our proprietary machine-learning platform and intelligence database We're backed by leading investors like Play Ventures and General Catalyst We’re a lean, fast-moving team working with breakout companies around the worldJob Location: PvX Partners is headquartered in Singapore, but this is a remote-first role A hybrid arrangement is possible if you're based in Singapore
