Designation - Head Pastry & Chocolate Chef Location - Mussafah, Abu Dhabi Salary - Upto 10K AED Plus Food Plus Accomodation Plus Medical InsuranceJob Overview: The Head Pastry & Chocolate Chef is responsible for leading the creation, development, and execution of innovative pastries, desserts, and artisanal chocolate products. This role combines artistic vision, technical skill, and leadership to ensure the highest quality standards, while managing the pastry and chocolate kitchen operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development:Design and innovate pastry and chocolate-based menus in line with seasonal trends, customer preferences, and brand standards. Chocolate Artistry:Create premium chocolate products including pralines, truffles, bonbons, and showpieces with precision and creativity. Quality Control:Ensure consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and hygiene across all pastry and chocolate items. Team Leadership:Train, mentor, and supervise pastry chefs, chocolatiers, and assistants, fostering a high-performance team culture. Production Management:Oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory management, and cost control without compromising quality. Event & Display Creations:Prepare signature desserts, centerpieces, and chocolate sculptures for events, banquets, and special occasions. Hygiene & Compliance:Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards. Collaboration:Work closely with Executive Chef, F&B teams, and management to meet customer demands and operational goals. Trend Research:Stay updated with global pastry and chocolate trends, incorporating new techniques and flavors. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience as Head Pastry Chef or Head Chocolatier in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishments. Advanced knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate tempering, sugar work, and artistic presentation. Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. Creativity with an eye for detail and aesthetics. Culinary degree or specialized pastry/chocolate certification preferred. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
