Position Type: Full-Time RoleExperience: 5-11 YearsLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring an experienced Data QA Automation Engineer to support a large-scale Data Transformation initiative. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across complex data ecosystems through robust automation and data validation strategies.You will actively participate in sprint ceremonies, take ownership of automation frameworks, and help eliminate manual testing efforts by building scalable regression suites.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data QA automation frameworks Automate regression, functional, smoke & performance testing Validate data across ETL / ELT pipelines Compare expected vs actual results from multiple data sources Perform data validation, process validation & outcome validation Execute migration, security, performance & architecture testing Automate testing for Relational, NoSQL, Cloud & Big Data sources Work in CI/CD environments and maintain automation pipelinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure high data qualityMust-Have Skills & Qualifications:Python (PyTest / Robot Framework)Strong SQL & Data ValidationETL / ELT Testing experienceBig Data technologies & Cloud platformsApache Spark / PySpark exposureTest Automation FrameworksCI/CD pipelinesGood to Have:BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow)Monitoring tools (Grafana, New Relic)ETL Validator toolsPerformance / Security / Migration TestingIdeal Candidate Traits:Detail-oriented & analyticalSelf-driven with strong ownershipComfortable working remotely with cross-functional teamsStrong communication & documentation skills
