Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating test cases, performing automated tests, and analyzing test results to ensure that software meets or exceeds defined quality standards. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute automated test scripts using various tools and programming languagesDesign, create, and maintain test cases based on business requirements and technical specificationsIdentify, report, and track software defects using defect tracking toolsCollaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve defectsWork with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality softwareParticipate in software design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and qualityStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to software testing and automationProvide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress, issues, and risksAssist in the creation of test plans, test strategies, and other project documentation as neededKey Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in automated software testingStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similarProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC)Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processesExperience with mobile and/or web application testingISTQB or similar software testing certificationPlease write to amit.n@ to connect.
