While this is a remote position, we offer access to a workspace in Palo Alto, CA, for those in the area. You'll be a core part of our engineering team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. If you are a builder who is excited by the challenge of solving complex problems and seeing your ideas rapidly come to life, this is the place for you.What You'll DoWorking closely with our founding engineers, you will: Take ownership of developing and maintaining critical components of the static shell for our Virtual FPGA technology. Architect and implement high-performance cybersecurity applications that push the boundaries of what's possible on our platform. Actively collaborate on system design, performance analysis, and integration in a constantly evolving codebase. Embrace the full development lifecycle, quickly moving from concept and design to implementation and real-world deployment.What You'll GainDeep, practical knowledge of FPGA virtualization and Dynamic Function eXchange (DFX). Hands-on experience in developing sophisticated, high-performance networking and cybersecurity applications. Direct mentorship from industry veterans in hardware and cloud computing. The invaluable experience of making a tangible impact at a fast-growing tech startup. Expertise in collaborating within a distributed, international team using agile methodologies.Basic Qualifications (What you'll need)Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience in FPGA system development, particularly with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs. Proficiency in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog. Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP). Programming skills in C/C++. Familiarity with software/hardware development in a Linux environment and Git for version control. A background in FPGA-based networking application development or performance analysis.Preferred Qualifications (What will make you stand out)A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience with AMD/Xilinx Versal devices Experience with Dynamic Function eXchange (DFX). A keen interest in cybersecurity application development. Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.
