Test Engineer

Title: Test Engineer 4 Location: Remote Job type: Contract Duration of contract: 6 months Shift: Night (8:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST) Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team in building scalable, high-performance systems supporting Supply Chain services and warehouse management systems. This role includes a strong emphasis onautomated software testingand the development oftest automation frameworks . Key Responsibilities Participate in thedesign, architecture, and implementationof software systems solving complex problems, including defining, scoping, and estimating stories and work artifacts. Ensure delivery ofhigh-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code . Design and implement automated test systemsfor Supply Chain and warehouse management platforms. Develop and maintainend-to-end, integration, regression, and performance test suitesusing tools such asPlaywright, Selenium, and Cypress . Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelines . Document software and test designs clearly and thoroughly. Provide on-call support for systems owned by the team. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional hands-on experience delivering quality software. Strong proficiency inJavaand theSpring Bootframework. Experience withautomated testing frameworks(e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress). Proven experience developingtest automation systemsfor enterprise applications. Familiarity withmessaging technologies and streaming platforms(Kafka). Experience withRESTful architectureandmicroservices . Proficiency withcloud technologies(AWS, Kubernetes); GCP is a plus. Experience withmodern infrastructure tools and pipelines(GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform). Strong understanding oftest automation at all levels(unit, integration, regression, performance/load). Familiarity withlogging and monitoring tools(New Relic, Splunk). Ability toarticulate and architect well-designed systems . Familiarity withrelational databasesis a plus. Experience inSupply Chainorwarehouse management systemsis highly desirable.
