Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Western Violin Teacher to join Gandharva School of Music, an international platform for online performing arts education. If you have a strong foundation in violin performance and pedagogy, and a flair for inspiring students, we invite you to become part of our esteemed faculty.Key Responsibilities:Conduct live 1:1 online violin classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.Develop structured lesson plans based on Gandharva’s curriculum and students’ progress.Teach scales, ragas, compositions, and improvisation.Guide students in music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills.Prepare students for certification exams (Trinity, Rock School etc.), recitals, and competitions.Provide constructive feedback and mentor students in their musical journey.Maintain a professional, engaging, and interactive online learning environment.Eligibility Criteria:Minimum qualification: Grade 5 in Violin from a reputed institution such as Trinity or equivalent.At least 4 years of prior teaching experience in violin.Strong grasp of swara, tala, ragas, compositions, and improvisation techniques.Proficiency in Hindi and English (additional regional languages are a plus).Technical Requirements:A good internet connection for smooth online classes.A laptop or desktop with a high-quality microphone and webcam.Why Join Us?Flexible working hours – teach from the comfort of your home.Connect with students worldwide and be a part of a thriving musical community.Opportunity to grow your teaching career with an internationally recognized institution.
