VFX MentorWe are a growing VFX studio based in Indonesia, specializing in VFX for Japanese films. To enhance our expertise, we are seeking an experienced Supervisor with experience in Hollywood film productions to mentor and direct our artists, particularly in the field of VFX.Responsibilities : Providing Houdini Software Training for Film and Advertising needs, from basic to advanced in an easy-to-understand manner. Priority is given to provide teaching on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation and Plant Instance Simulation. Teaches the right way to create the right Lookdev to get convincing results for Clients. Able to provide solutions for integration from Houdini to Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa. Providing effective and efficient teaching to in-house VFX Artists to enhance individual skills. Providing insight into the experience as a VFX Artist in the world of global cinema.Skills & Requirements : - Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation or TV series. - Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and understanding of the production process. - Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini. - In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred). - Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus. - Portfolio demonstrating excellent skills and creative approach. - Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini. - Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and understanding of the production process. - Strong leadership and mentoring skills. - Artistic skills with a high attention to detail. - Enthusiasm and creativity. - Proficiency in the English language.Job Description : - Responsible - Collaborative & Communicative - Willing to provide weekly reviews individually or in groups (remotely via GMeet or Zoom) - Assist in designing training assignments and providing feedback - Willing to answer questions online via chat (Google Chat) - Part-time: approximately 5-10 hours/week - Work remotely only - Paid hourly/weekly (flexible)If you're interested, please send us a DM with: - Your most recent CV - Portfolio link - Hourly rate - Available hours per weekWe’re excited to receive your applications.
