Location : KolkataNevaeh Technology Pvt Ltd, a pioneering High-Frequency Trading (HFT) platform with a 15-year legacy, serving domestic and international clients, is seeking a Head of Technology / CTO with vision, technical depth, and execution excellence.Own reliability, quality, and delivery for trading technology across multiple financial exchanges. Build a high-output engineering culture, and strengthen SDLC, production operations, and data integrity.Responsibilities· Production reliability: SRE/on-call readiness, incident management, disaster recovery & BCP.· SDLC & quality: Code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, change control, and audit evidence.· Platform ownership: Market data → order management/routing → pre-trade risk → post-trade clearing, reconciliation, and reporting.· Quant & Algo tech: Partner with research to drive algorithmic trading and backtesting capabilities.· Data platform: Contracts, lineage, reconciliations, SLAs, governance, and security.· People & leadership: Hire and coach technical leads and seniors; manage vendors, budgets, and partner with trading, research, and compliance.Must-Have· 10–15+ years in financial markets technology, with 5+ years managing team.· Proven ownership of 24×7 mission-critical systems with defined SLOs and audit requirements (SOC2 / ISO / SOX or equivalent).· Strong grounding in SDLC, change management, observability, incident response, and stakeholder communication.Nice-to-Have· Experience with OMS/EMS, FIX, risk systems, reconciliations, and full trade lifecycle.· Working familiarity with C++ or Python (emphasis on leadership, reliability, and delivery).Expected DeliverablesShort Term: Define SLOs, establish on-call process, implement CI/CD with test gates, reduce Sev-1 incidents by 30%.Medium Term: Daily deploys on core services, MTTR , audited change management.Long Term: Predictable quarterly releases, zero-surprise audits, and on-time new exchange integrations.Level & CompensationWe calibrate title, scope, and compensation to the candidate’s impact and track record.We’re flexible on cash vs. equity/phantom structure, can support relocation/buyouts, and pay top-of-market for exceptional talent.We’re happy to discuss expectations confidentially early in the process.Work Setup
