Job Title: SatCom Systems Engineer We are seeking an experienced SatCom Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing satellite communications systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of satcom based solutions and various types of satellites. They will have hands on work on communication satellites and experience of working as an integral part of a highly focused team. A strong analytical mind and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate will be able to develop innovative solutions to defined problems and drive presales globally for all accounts. Responsibilities: Requirements analysis and assessment of supplier solutions to meet communications systems requirements. LEO, MEO, GEO interoperability solutions. NR NTN 3GPP convergence release specifications. D DTD solutions with Starlink and AST. Integration with terrestrial and NB IOT networks. Ubiquitous connectivity solutions. Communications system test strategy development and VV&T plan documentation and test execution in either ground or in-orbit test environments. Ground segment engineering/terminal design and development. Communications payload engineering design and test. Preparation of concept of operations and service delivery documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience and a graduate with a good honours or masters degree in a relevant subject. Chartered engineer or equivalent is desirable. Practical experience in the commissioning and testing of satellite systems is required. Familiarity with OSS/BSS technology and the use in management and reporting of communications networks is also desired.
