Perform cloning, PCR, sequencing, gene editing (e.g., CRISPR), and related techniques. Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and maintain accurate records. Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and inventory. Ensure compliance with biosafety standards and laboratory protocols. Train and supervise junior researchers or lab technicians. Use bioinformatics tools to analyze genetic and molecular data. Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Document findings for scientific publications or patent applications. Work with cross-functional teams in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or academia. Contribute molecular insights to projects in diagnostics, drug development, agriculture, or environmental biology. Stay current with scientific advancements and emerging technologies in molecular biology. Follow ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and good laboratory practices (GLP). Participate in audits, quality assurance checks, and research grant applications.
