Sourcing & Sustainability Manager BU APAC Company: BU APAC Department: BU Management Team Direct Manager: Group Director Region Asia – Pacific.Location : Can be located at either Pune (India) or Singapore, depending on applicant's residencePurpose of the role, summary o This position is designed to make a significant contribution towards the overall strategic sourcing objectives in BU APAC by working hand-in-hand with local Sourcing Managers and their teams to align priorities, share best practices, and collectively achieve our ambitious goals. o Lead the sourcing teams of local companies and coordinate important projects o Promote Sustainability and make it a competitive edge to support BU’s ambitious growth plan o Representing BU APAC in the Global Sourcing Circle and Global Sustainability CircleExpected OutcomeSourcing:o Set up BU sourcing strategy to support business growth and achieve cost saving target o Collaborate closely with local Sourcing Managers and their teams to ensure sourcing strategies are adapted and executed effectively at the local level. o Facilitate cross-regional knowledge sharing among APAC companies to accelerate supplier development and innovation. o Develop supplier base in line with sales needs for product range development o Continuously develop existing suppliers and new suppliers to build a strong and solid AVL o Manage the overall supplier management processes, including spend analysis, supplier qualification, performance management, supplier audit and supplier development o Continuously improve supply chain processes and tools to support business growth o Work closely with Sales and Quality teams to provide professional service to satisfy internal and external customers’ needs & requirements o Identify and implement methods to reduce cycle times, improve supplier performance and optimize supply network o Prepare Monthly Reports and lead APAC sourcing meetingSustainability:o Responsible for the sustainability reporting o Be the owner of the sustainability system and processes in the BU. o Secure Bufab sustainable value offering in the BU to support customers decarbonization & sustainability journey. o Design and implement sustainability initiatives for sourcing and for the supplier base. Including KPI´s how to measure the progress of our decided Sustainable Development Goals o Make decarbonization a habit that is integrated in decision making when selecting suppliers for new items and review the current supplier portfolio and make the plan with the local companies how to reach the SBTi commitment. o Review and plan training for the stakeholders, customers & suppliers.Required Qualifications & Competenceso Proven ability to influence without authority and build trust-based relationships with local Sourcing Managers and cross-functional teams o Adhere to business ethics and ensure compliance in business dealings with suppliers o Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or equivalent experience and training. o Experience in sourcing/category management, track record of success in supplier consolidation and driving spend to preferred suppliers, contracts, and frame agreements o At least 10 years work experience and 7 years in management position in multinational company o Strong Collaborative Leadership and Influencing Skills o Commercial, strategy development, negotiations skills and project management experience. o Past experience in managing sustainability activities is a plus, or demonstrate strong willingness to explore and obtain adequate knowledge of sustainability o Awareness of GRI G5, ISO 26000, ISO45000, ISO 14001, EcoVadis, Sedex, CSRD, CBAM o Competence in material compliance regulations REACH, RoHS, Full Material Declarations, Conflict minerals etc. o Rich supplier audit experience. o Good command of Mandarin and English in both writing and oral is a mustKPIso Achieve cost saving target o Solid and strong AVL o Supplier management o Carbon reduction o Identifying Green customers and provide solutions o Green suppliers Scope 3 -55% 2031 o Support global projectsCandidates who are interested in this position, please send your resume tohr.apac@ .
