Not even close.Role: Back-End EngineerLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring a Back-End Engineer to design and maintain the systems that run behind every product decision on Joveo's platform. You will architect APIs, manage data flows, and build services that need to be fast, reliable, and resilient — at scale.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend microservices- Architect efficient data models and database query strategies- Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and data sources- Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response- Implement security best practices across APIs and server-side logic- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams in sprint cyclesRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Java, Go, Node.js)- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization- Experience designing and documenting REST or GraphQL APIs- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)- Understanding of caching, rate limiting, and API security fundamentals- Track record of building reliable systems in a production environmentEqual Opportunity Employer:Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
