Job Purpose Responsible for all operations at a Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)/NP/NPKs fertilizer production operation. Core ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate daily plant operations across production, utilities, maintenance, and quality functions to meet volume, cost, and quality target.To ensure the target plant efficiencies are achieved for all products by daily process parameter analysis and OptimizationEnsuring statutory compliance with respect to plant operationsCoordinate preventive maintenance schedules, shutdown planning, and ensure spare-parts availability to minimize the downtimeExploring avenues for improvement in plant performanceEnsuring and achieving targeted production and despatch of the different product grades of DAP/NPKDeployment of manpower to ensure smooth & safe operationClose monitoring of shutdown & start up activitiesEnsuring availability of Pollution Control Equipment & Personnel Protective EquipmentAnalyse Accidents & Environmental Monitoring Data and take Corrective and Preventive Actions to prevent reoccurrenceDriving Initiatives, Training and Timely Audit points closureCarry out activities as laid down in IMS Manuals & Procedural Manual for IMSProficient in SAP & DCS operationGood knowledge of product quality as per FCO norms
