Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

Location:Chennai, Bangalore and MumbaiExperience Required:3–4 years in Freight Forwarding / Logistics SalesJob Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Sales Executive with 3–4 years of experience in freight forwarding to drive business growth, acquire new clients, and manage key customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international logistics, shipping processes, and supply chain solutions.Key Responsibilities:•⁠ ⁠Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air, Sea, and Land). •⁠ ⁠Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including importers, exporters, and corporate accounts. •⁠ ⁠Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and industry connections. •⁠ ⁠Understand customer requirements and offer customized logistics solutions. •⁠ ⁠Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service contracts. •⁠ ⁠Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals. •⁠ ⁠Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling. •⁠ ⁠Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. •⁠ ⁠Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. •⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems. Key Requirements:•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. •⁠ ⁠3–4 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry. •⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of shipping terms (Incoterms), documentation, and international trade. •⁠ ⁠Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. •⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. •⁠ ⁠Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills:Existing client base or industry contacts. Experience in handling key accounts. Knowledge of customs clearance and compliance processes.
