Assistant Production Manager

Job Title: Assistant Production ManagerRole OverviewThe Assistant Production Manager will support and oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards. The role involves close coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth production flow, timely material availability, and delivery of high-quality products in line with project specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and monitor production activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with quality standards.Coordinate with Procurement and Sales teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials.Possess strong working knowledge of CNC machines and related production equipment.Monitor and manage all Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities within the production units.Work closely with Design and Engineering teams to ensure production aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.Lead, manage, and guide Production Engineers and Supervisors to maintain accuracy, quality, and productivity.Take end-to-end responsibility for production units, including:Aluminium WorksAluminium Composite Panel (ACP) WorksInsulated Glass Unit (IGU) WorksSteel WorksSilicone Bonding WorksProactively identify, analyze, and resolve production-related issues to minimize delays and rework.Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all production machinery and equipment.Maintain compliance with safety standards and best manufacturing practices.8-10 Years’ experience.Qualifications & ExperienceB.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience in production management within Aluminium, Façade, or Glazing industries.Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, and related manufacturing processes.Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and project execution.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.Sound knowledge of engineering principles related to production operations.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Effective communication skills (written and verbal).Well-versed in operation and maintenance of production machinery.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
