Role: Production Manager – Leather JacketsLocation: BangaloreCompany: Bhartiya International LtdWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our Leather Jackets division. The role requires strong technical expertise in leather garment production, large-scale factory operations management, productivity improvement, and people leadership.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing high-volume leather jacket manufacturing units with strong exposure to industrial engineering, production planning, quality systems, and delivery management for international customers.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations ManagementLead complete production operations for leather jackets across cutting, stitching, finishing, washing, and packing processesEnsure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in line with shipment plansDrive production efficiency, line balancing, and capacity utilization across the factoryMonitor productivity, absenteeism, DHU, rejection levels, and overall operational performanceFactory & Workforce ManagementManage large production teams including supervisors, line leaders, mechanics, and operatorsHandle operations of a 300+ machine manufacturing setupEnsure optimum manpower deployment and workforce discipline on the shop floorDevelop second-line leadership and create a high-performance manufacturing cultureIndustrial Engineering & ProductivityWork closely with IE teams for SMV improvements, layout optimization, and bottleneck reductionImplement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement practicesDrive efficiency enhancement programs to improve output and reduce operational lossesQuality & ComplianceEnsure adherence to buyer quality standards and internal quality systemsMinimize rework, alteration, and rejection percentages through strong process controlsCoordinate with QA teams to ensure right-first-time productionEnsure compliance with safety, audit, and factory compliance standardsPlanning & Delivery ManagementCoordinate with merchandising, planning, warehouse, and quality teams for smooth execution of ordersEnsure on-time order execution and shipment adherenceMonitor WIP movement and proactively address production risks or delaysTechnical & Process ExcellenceSupport product feasibility discussions and pre-production planningReview machine requirements, attachments, and process capabilities for new stylesDrive process standardization and best manufacturing practices across linesRequirement:12+ years of experience in handling leather jacket manufacturing is mustCandidate should be a Graduate / Diploma holder in Leather Technology / NIFTShould have handled a minimum 300+ machine manufacturing unitStrong exposure to production planning, line balancing, quality, and productivity improvementShould be capable of managing large workforce and achieving production targets within timelinesCandidate should be ready to relocate to BangaloreHow to ApplyInterested candidates can send their CV to: Company Website:
