Backed by BIRAC, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and leading angels, Cureous Labs is scaling its go-to-market rapidly with a mission to deploy 100+ units in the next quarter.Position OverviewThis is a hands-on role involving manufacturing, assembly and testing of inflatable medical device components (overlays), supporting senior technicians and engineers in daily manufacturing activities.Freshers who are eager to learn and work with real hardware are strongly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly of inflatable overlays and mechanical componentsAssisting the team in product assembly and sub-assemblyWork with vendors / manufacturers in Product development as per requirementsEnsure QA/QC before dispatch of the products3D Modelling + CAD Drawings (preferable)Conducting leak tests, pressure tests, and basic functional testing of inflatablesSupporting product testing and quality checksHandling tools, fixtures, and basic jigs safelyBuilding / Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsReporting defects, leaks, or issues during assembly/testingPacking, labelling, and dispatch preparation when requiredEssential Qualifications & SkillsITI (Fitter / Mechanic / Turner / related trade)Diploma in Mechanical / Production / MechatronicsB.Sc / B.Tech freshers with strong hands-on interest (preferred but not mandatory)Experience:Freshers are welcome0–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or testing is a plusRequired Skills & TraitsWillingness to do hands-on assembly workBasic understanding of mechanical parts and assembliesComfortable travelling and working with different manufactures / Vendors in Karnataka and OutsideAttention to detail and patience during testingAbility to follow instructions and learn quicklyPhysically comfortable with standing work and manual tasksTeam player with a positive attitudeGood to Have (Not Mandatory)Experience in medical devices, automotive, or manufacturing unitsExposure to leak testing, pneumatic systems, or pressure testingFamiliarity with hand tools (spanners, cutters, torque tools, etc.)What We OfferOpportunity to work on real-world medical devicesLearning exposure to medical device manufacturing & qualityHands-on experience with innovative productsGrowth opportunities as the company scalesSupportive startup environment
